The ‘Stichting Tango Argentino Groningen’ (STAG) is a non-profit foundation, which aims to promote the Argentine tango dance in and around Groningen.  The foundation is independent; she has no ties with any of the tango schools in Groningen or other tango organisations. The STAG exists because and in favour of the tango dancers.

Every friday we organise a dance evening (salon) in the Ocho de Mayo. We also arrange for special salons at spectacular and beautiful locations a few times a year, like the already legendary tango matinees at the Watertoren and the Grand Theatre. These salons are often with live music like the tango-orchestra of Carel Kraayenhof.

Besides that the STAG publishes a newsletter. Also, we have this website, which includes a calendar with all the tango activities in and around Groningen.
